The Herman Boys – Lizzie's Brothers

I did a previous post for the Herman girls, so here is the post I promised about the Herman boys.  Unfortunately, I don't have good photos for the boys likes I did for the girls.   These are the brothers of Lizzie Trochinski (ne Elizabeth Herman) who was the mother of Lucita Johanson, mother of Portia Johnson.
Frank (Francis Mathias) Herman 1873 – 1953

• The only sibling older than Lizzie. Had 2 children, Edna and Mabel

Bill (William O) Herman 1878 – 1938

• William was a cigar maker, who was rumored to have made his money bootlegging. He was very kind hearted and would help anyone. His wife died, leaving him with a young family to care for, which he did with the help of a housekeeper. One of his daughters was Helen Herman, who was in the service during World War 2 and is married To Raymond Schmidt in Marshfield.

Eddie (Edward) Herman 1890 – 1902

• Passed at the age of 12 reportedly from a liver problem.

• Married Gertrude Wiltgen. Children Rita Schonfeldt and Gerald Herman. Died from Bright's disease (a kidney disease).
